Summer Solstice Artists’ Residency

Societa delle Api and Silvia Fiorucci presented Fixed Constant Blazing, a week-long artists’ residency and retreat with a focus on energy alignment and intention setting through a series of daily individual and group practices, meditations, rituals and workshops.
I was invited by the curator, Jennifer Lewandowska, to teach movement, yoga and meditation sessions every day with the artists and fellow participants.

I teach weekly classes for vulnerable adults at the Powell Cotton Museum, Birchington as part of The Sunshine Project. The classes are funded by AIM Connected Communities Grant through the Arts Council. A joyful, playful class that always includes lots of laughter. Yoga doesn’t have to be so serious…
Yoga for Sailors!
Ramsgate
2025
I teach a class to sailors that work out of Ramsgate Harbour. Most of the men work on the customs boats that help to rescue migrants in the British Channel, a physically and mentally demanding job without much aftercare. Hoping that, through funding, this project can continue to help the wellbeing of the local sailors.
