A weekend to press pause and get away from it all.

The retreat is held at the stylish and cosy Bramley House B&B, which has been featured in several interiors magazines. There is a beautiful garden with lots of shady nooks and apple trees to read/nap beneath in your free time. It’s a magical place that feels like a hug and you will leave feeling rested and renewed.

The house is located in the idyllic village of Kilndown, just a 2 minute walk from the National Trust’s Scotney Estate and a 20 minute walk from Bedgebury Pinetum. You will be surrounding by stunning countryside and this is all just an hour from London on the train.

Elise and her mum Linda, the owner of Bramley House B&B and your cook for the weekend, will look after you. A ‘dream team’ according to past guests!

Expect daily yoga (all abilities welcome), walking, journaling, delicious vegetarian meals (breakfast in the garden if the weather permits) and evenings by the fireside. You will not have to lift a finger all weekend! And there will be plenty of time to read/ nap/ rest if you wish.

The cabin is located in the garden and is heated and fully insulated. It has a small kitchen and bathroom with a toilet and a hip bath. There are comfy chairs by the fireplace for cosy evening reading. The perfect option for those who really want to unplug from their everyday lives!

The Location

The Yoga Space

The yoga classes are held a few minutes walk from the house in a modern, spacious and fully heated hall in the middle of the village.

The classes are suitable for all abilities, beginners are welcome. Expect an energising morning practice and a restorative candlelit evening session.

All yoga mats and props are provided.

4pm Arrival. Tea and a snack
5.30–7pm Candlelit Restorative Flow and Yin
7pm Guided journaling session
7.30pm Dinner

In the evening there is the option to read or to chat with others by the fireside (there are two rooms with fireplaces so plenty of space to be on your own if you choose).

Day 2

8am Morning snack and tea
8.30–9.30am Vinyasa Yoga
10am Breakfast
11am–4pm Free time

Optional walk through the surrounding countryside (Packed lunch provided).

4.30–6.30pm Journaling and Candlelit Yin session
7pm Dinner

All prices include accomodation, yoga and all meals. Transfers from the local train station are also included.

Yoga mats and props are provided.

A £150 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place. The full payment must be paid 1 month before the retreat.

The sharing option is for sharing a double or kingsize bed so perfect for those that want to come with a friend or family member!

Getting there

Bramley House B&B is located in the village of Kilndown on the West Kent/East Sussex border. It is a 1hr train journey from London Charing Cross to the nearest stations – Wadhurst or Paddock Wood. There will be free transfers to and from the station. For those driving, there is plenty of parking space outside the house.
